Making The Season Bright, Holiday Tradition, Choose Ohio First
The campus community recently gathered in celebration to ring in the holiday season. The third-annual Wittenberg Tree Lighting included a sing-along, holiday crafts, and a German-style Christmas market. Music was provided by Just Eve and the Wittmen Crew, while Wittenberg’s GetWittCrew, Cheerleading, and Pep Band kept the event festive. A special video captured the fun, as well.

Tiger Up Trademark, Sip's Coffee Bar, Esports At Witt
The fall colors are starting to fade, but the energy and engagement that has defined this semester remains. Since our last communication, we have welcomed more guests for the annual Wittenberg Series, accepted more applications for FIRE Week, spent time in the new Sip’s Coffee Bar on campus — part of our new Tiger Ventures — and celebrated with the women’s soccer team and women’s cross country team, both of which won NCAC championships. For the first time in school history, we also have Individual Champions in both men’s and women’s cross country.

Immersive Learning, Athletics Hall Of Honor, Serving Their Alma Mater
Having Light: The Campaign for Wittenberg University closed on June 30, 2023. Because of alumni and donors like you, we raised an unprecedented $113.3M, making this the largest comprehensive campaign in Wittenberg’s history. Over the past few years, these donations have helped the institution navigate the COVID-19 pandemic, reduce historical debt, build the state-of-the-art Health, Wellness, and Athletics facility, and provide support for our operating budget and student scholarships. These donations have helped to sustain Wittenberg to the present, yet there is more to do. Thank you for joining us in this important work.

Why Witt?, Launch, Fostering Growth & Intellectual Inquiry
As our Having Light Campaign came to a close on June 30, I have spent the last weeks reflecting on the amazing contributions and impact this initiative brought forward. Together, you truly lived out our University motto: Having Light We Pass It On To Others. More than 10,400 donor households participated to help us exceed our campaign goal in a remarkable way. Although this campaign is crossing the finish line, this is only the beginning of our increased outreach at Wittenberg. As we plan to celebrate our success together, we know the future will require even more.
